Today we went to the National Cherry Festival Airshow in Traverse City, Mi. It was the first performance for the Blue Angels since losing the pilot for the number 6 solo, Captain Kuss. Mixed emotions seeing them out there performing with only 5 airplanes, especially when you thought about why, but good to see them back in the air where they belong. They amazed the huge crowd as always, and they received a huge ovation when they were done. Gorgeous weather to watch the show.
