Another game winning run for Alex!

Well, the boy is having a great season.  He pitched two scoreless innings with 4 strikeouts, then in the top of the fifth with two outs and the score tied, he had a great at bat and got a hit, then got hit home by a teammate for the go ahead run.  Then the boys held Grand Ledge in the bottom of the fifth to win the game.

Alex played a great game tonight, getting a diving catch from 2nd and a great snag at first base, plus a hit in the bottom of the fifth to then get hit home for the Bulldogs to win 1-0!

Jr keeps on hitting

Alex kept his hitting streak alive going 3-4 in his two games this week.  He also did an incredible job pitching yesterday, getting 4 strikeouts in a two inning performance where he got his 6 outs facing only 7 batters!  

Because 5 kids and a bunny weren't enough.......

Park Fun

Took the kiddos to the Imagination Station in Brighton this morning.  They had fun and burned some energy.  It is a nice play area with a great little pond.

Cubs vs Tigers at Comerica

I took Alex and Emma to see the Cubs play the Tigers at Comerica Park.  We had a great time, the weather was absolutely perfect.  Cubs won 12-3!  Tough for the home team but I didn't too much. :)  Alex caught a ball during batting practice, and he has his fastball up to 40MPH!  Caught a glimpse of Cabrera as he left in his white Merc.  

Visiting the historic Ford Piquette Plant

Stopped in at the Ford Piquette Plant, where the Model T was first built.  Some very cool cars in there!  Fun walking through the same building where the Ford motor Co was really made.

Isabelle's Kindergarten Graduation!

Isabelle graduated from kindergarten today!  She looked so cute up on stage singing, and so proud when she got her diploma.  Congrats, Izzy!!
