Mason Steam Show

Well, another Steam Show has come and gone. The weather was wonderful and overall it was a great show. Lot's of dirt, soot, smoke, dust, heat, and greasy vendor food was enjoyed by all. My family's 1919 Advance Rumely 20hp ran great, they ran it on the transfer sled Friday and Saturday, and helped plow the field Friday and Sunday. Very hard work. Now comes the cleanup. Next year we'll do it all over again!

My little Hot Dog Emma on her bike, she loves doing "wheelies" on it. She is actually getting good at it. Of course, she practices all the time!

My little photographers

I got the girls each a disposable camera for the last couple days my grandpa was in town. Here are a couple of the photos that I thought were fun. I didn't include the pictures of the bedspread, the stairs, the floors, or their stuffed animals. But these are pretty fun........

July 4th Weekend

This year my grandpa was able to come up from Florida for two weeks to visit and join us over the holiday weekend. It was fun having him here for the holiday. It was a fun weekend with my grandpa, my sister-in-law Julie and of course my family around all weekend to enjoy the beautiful three day weekend. Julie did her normal share of hard work as you will from the photos of her laying out reading and riding the atv. My kids tried to exhaust my grandpa, and we all enjoyed each others company. It was also a weekend to get out some old toys, like the 1919 Advance Rumely steam engine and the 1925 Dodge Brothers.

My First Entry - Mackinac Island 2008

I haven't been able to update my old family website since Olivia's third birthday in late April. Here are photos from our trip to Mackinac Island over Memorial Day weekend. We always have such a great time up there with family. I will be updating this to get caught up since it has been a while.
