Picked out our tree and got it up and decorated today. Lights on, ornaments hung and train running!

Mason Light Parade & cookies

Tonight was the Mason Light Parade. We went and watched while Izzy rode in a dump truck with friends. It was a little chilly but we warmed up afterwards making cookies and sweets at the Greathouses.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! We hit both sides of the family today which I don't think is ideal as it makes for a long day and I felt like we didn't get to spend a good amount of time with either family. May need to alternate from here out. But it was nice to see everyone.

The true start of winter

For me, the true start of winter is when I put the TBird away. It is at my friend Garrett's for the winter so that before spring we can get the new suspension in it with the lowering springs. Can't wait to get started on it!

Ending on top!

With high school bowling kicking in Olivia is done bowling for her Saturday morning league. And as of the Thanksgiving break she is in 1st place! We will check back in March as she has pre-bowled all of those weeks to see where she ends up at the finish of league play.

Happy 19th, Emma

Happy birthday, Emma! We had a small party with Mandy's parents the other night to celebrate. So proud of her, she has grown up into an awesome person. Can't wait to see what she has in store for her.

Soccer banquet

Alex had his soccer banquet last night where he got his varsity letter. Not bad for a freshman! He also got most improved player voted by his teammates. Looking forward to the 3 seasons he has left at Mason!

A late birthday for Alex

For Alex's birthday this year we didn't even really have a party since everyone was so busy and he didn't want one. So for his birthday my mom, dad and I all chipped in to get him and I tickets to the US Mens National Soccer Team taking on Mexico in Cincinnati tonight. It was an amazing game! The atmosphere was amazing and the US men pulled out a 2-0 win with two late goals. This will be a night I won't forget. It was such an amazing event to enjoy with Alex.

A visit to Crosley

When my grandpa passed away I asked if I could have his Cincinnati Reds hat, since we shared the love of baseball together. And I got the last laugh since I keep it in a Chicago Cubs locker I have! But Alex and I were going to Cincinnati so I wanted to show him where Crosley Field had been, which had been the home to the Reds for so many years. I took grandpa's hat with me and rested it on the place where home plate had been. Hope you're up the smiling, Gramps.

Abby scores another goal with another win to end the seaon!

Abby's Bulldogs finished the fall season strong with 2 wins to get to 3-3-2. They played some tough teams and definitely improved. Abby scored another goal for her second of the season, and has scored both times she has been put at forward. She is playing so good! Very fun to watch, so now we begin the wait for spring!

Abby scores in Mason's win over Williamston

Abby got her first goal of the fall season this morning in the girls win over Williamston! They played very good and won 7-0. Only 1 game left tomorrow!
