Mason Christmas Light Parade

Another weekend and another light parade!  We took our Queen City replica to the Mason Light Parade this Friday, wearing the Michigan Millers band proudly once again!  It went well, even though it was frigid.  Our friends the Millers joined us and helped hand out candy with us.  It was a fun time.

Alex shooting on Thanksgiving

We shoot skeet every Thanksgiving morning and Alex wanted to try his hand at the air rifle this year.  He thought he was Clint Eastwood. :)

Michigan Millers Silver Bells Parade Float

One of my coworkers decided to create a replica of my company's antique pumper fire engine that has been displayed in front of our building since 1958 for the Lansing Silver Bells electric light parade.  So he, myself, and one other coworker in less than a month went from the antique buggy below to the replica of the Queen City Fire Engine.  We had fun doing it and the parade went very well.  Now we will put it in the Mason Light Parade this Friday and then figure out where to store it!  Thanks to my dad for letting us use his trailer for the display!
The antique buggy Rob and I picked up in Hastings.
 Pretty much completed replica.
In front of Michigan Millers, ours next to the real Queen City.

Alex's Birthday Bowling Outing

Tonight Alex, Izzy, Abbey, my mom and dad and I met up with Jackson & Colin to have a birthday get together at City Limits.  Mandy, Livy & emma went to the Palace to see the US gymnastics team so we decided to have some fun ourselves.

Happy Halloween!!

This year I had a Slurpee cup, Rubix Cube, Darth Vader, Bug & Pumpkin follow us around for trick or treating.  Mandy and my mom did awesome on the rubix cube and slurpee cup.  Lots of comments on the costumes! :)
