Christmas Spirit and First Snow

Sunday we started our extended "Christmas Holiday". We went to Keans in Mason where they had reindeer and popcorn and of course, Jolly Old St Nick himself. The kids had fun seeing Rudolf and Santa, then we came home and played in the little snow we got that actually stuck. Then we watched the movie Elf and made cookies. It was a fun Sunday night. We even had the Pine tree candle lit so it smelled of Christmas. I can't wait for the Holidays to come. But first we have Thanksgiving coming, with lots of food and football. We can't get ahead ourselves and skip that one.

Emma's 6th Birthday & Gramee's Puppy

Well, we had two fun events Saturday. Emma's 6th Birthday and our introduction to a new member of the family. My mom bought a baby girl chocolate lab. She is so cute. The kids loved her. She behaved very well her fist time at our place. Alex loved rolling on the floor with her and getting puppy kisses. You can tell Emma is my girl, with a Tony Stewart car and a Lionel Toy Story car as gifts. Don't worry, she also loved her Hannah Montana gifts and coat and clothes and stuff. I can't believe my baby is 6.......

Emma and Olivia's pictures

We got Emma one of those Kid Tuff Fisher Price digital cameras for her birthday. Her and Olivia used it a ton and these are some of the photos they took. I was a little down with the quality but at least we get to see the world through their eyes. Some fun pictures of the floor I didn't bother including. Fun pictures though.

Emma-Alex Joint Birthday Party

Well, I have gotten lazy. These are photos from Emma & Alex's joint birthday party with Mandy's side of the family. It looked a little like Christmas with all the stuff. We gave Livy a couple small gifts so she wouldn't feel left out. Plus she was getting over bronchitis and pinkeye, so my little girl needed a little cheering up. Emma got a camera from us to which I will be posting pictures next. It was a very fun afternoon.

Happy 2nd Birthday Alex!

Well, My little boy is 2 already. Amazing. Time really does fly. We had a good time celebrating his birthday, he also gets a shared party with Emma this Sunday with my brother and sister-in-law, and Mandy's parents. We had cake and opened some presents and just relaxed and enjoyed the evening. Sunday will be a little crazier with Emma and Alex ripping things open, but we'll have fun.

Happy Halloween! We took the kids to Tim and Jackie's neighborhood to get candy. The three munchkins went up and town their street and then Emma went with Tim and I a couple blocks over and really hit the mother load. Alex took a bit warming up to his skunk outfit, but then had fun after a bit. Emma loved being Woody with Livy being her Bullseye. We are going through a Toy Story revival at our house. Well, it's already 5 days away from Alex's 2nd birthday. Next post will probably be all about that. Until then......

Here are photos of us carving pumpkins at my mom's house. Tim and Jackie were there and we all carved a pumpkin. You can probably tell which one was mine.....
