Olivia's first college acceptance!

 Olivia got her first college acceptance today! Here we go.....

Putting up the tree part I

 Putting up the tree was a little different than usual this year. Usually we put it up the day we get it but we went to Jackson last night so it had to wait until today, and we were in Livonia all afternoon, then we went to have dinner with my mom for her birthday, then we started putting up the tree around 8pm. When we went to do the lights all of our strands would not work. So after a trip to Meijer for new lights (at which time Emma went to bed due to her shift starting at 5am tomorrow) we got up most of the ornaments. Emma will put hers on tomorrow.

Gingerbread house building at the Hoffmans

 Tonight we went to Jackson to see the Hoffmans. My kids and the Naths assembled a gingerbread house. Most of it got assembled before it was eaten....

Christmas Tree hunting with cousins

 We went and got our tree this morning and took Rachel, Danielle and Isaac since they had never been before! We also met up with my brother and his family. Lots of cousins this year on a beautiful Saturday morning.

Late November fire

 It was warm enough tonight to make a fire. Only Garrett, Pat and I were out there but it was a great night for it.

Cookie decorating

 Well, we got together so the kids could decorate cookies, but the ladies ended up doing almost all of them. At least we were all together and lots of laughing and fun was had.

Mason Light Parade

 I couldn't get everyone together for a photo but I got several of them. The Mason parade was good, it was great weather and there were several good floats that came through.

Happy Thanksgiving

 For Thanksgiving we hosted this year. My parents, brother and his boys and my Aunt Mary and Uncle Bob came over for dinner. Good to see everyone and we had a good time visiting.

 Gave Mandy her first lesson in plowing the driveway. Wasn't tons of snow, but she did alright.

Final Saturday morning bowling

 This morning was Olivia's final Saturday morning for her High School League. She has been bowling on Saturday mornings since 5th grade. Very bittersweet knowing this was it. I appreciate the coaches and organizers so much for helping her through the years, she has developed a passion for bowling with their help. She has become a good bowler largely in due to the many games she has put in on Saturday mornings. It is hard knowing we are done with this, but excited for her final season for Mason.

Mason Soccer Banquet

 Tonight was Alex's soccer banquet. He did pretty well, making the All-District Team, All Conference Honorable Mention, Team All Academic Award, and another Varsity Letter. He was also named as off-season captain. Very proud of him. He has two years of varsity soccer under his belt and two more to go. Excited for what is next for this group!

Happy 20th, Emma!

 Hard to believe we have a 20 year old, but we do! Happy birthday, Emma. You have been such an awesome kid and we love you. Been fun watching you grow up and turn into an incredible young woman.
