Our last full day in Orlando. We played pool as well as spent time in a couple pools. We used our house pool more and went to the resort pool for a while. After dinner we went to Disney Springs...again (my third trip there in 4 days!). We got dessert at Rain Forest Cafe and picked up a few last minute items.
Today Mandy, Emma, Izzy and Abby went to Universal Studios and got to go to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. They have been wanting to go to this for so long. They had an awesome day.
While we stayed in town for my Uber duties (see other post) Liv, Alex and I went to Disney Springs to bowl and do some shopping. Then we went to do some mini-golfing, of which I won! Beautiful weather today!
Today we left in the morning to head to Clearwater to visit an aquarium. After that I dropped the girls off with the Naths at the beach and Alex and I went to visit his girlfriend, Sydney, who is vacationing just south of where we were. He got to hang out with her and ride a jet ski they rented. The girls are all a little red this evening but it was a fun day.
Day 2 started out with us going to Disney Springs to do some shopping and just get out and enjoy the heat! It was 90 today. We went back to the house and played in the pool a bit before Alex, Tim, Isaac and I went to Orlando to watch the US Mens Soccer Team take on El Salvador. The atmosphere was not as lively as when we saw the team take on Mexico, but it was still alot of fun to see them play again and come away with a 1-0 win. Alex had just happened to see they were playing while we were down here in the car, so it was a fun last minute addition to the trip. The girls did something while we were gone, but they are all in bed as I update this so I will get details and update with photos tomorrow if they took some.
We made it to Orlando, thanks to the traffic a little later than we wanted but still with plenty of day left. The Naths got here about an hour after us and we pretty much enjoyed the hot weather with swimming and enjoying the house we rented. Tomorrow is our first full day in Orlando!
