Ohio State Reformatory

Today on our way from Cleveland to Cincinnati we stopped at the Ohio State Reformatory, the prison used in "The Shawshank Redemption'.  It was extremely cool!  Not only was it just a very interesting building to see, but the walking around a building used in a major Hollywood production was pretty cool.

The building shot in the movie for the exterior of the hotel Brooks and Red stayed in after being paroled.

 Parole denied, Papa!!!

One of two massive cell blocks.  One was 6 stories and the other 5 stories.  They were massive.

Got them right where I want them!!

This gate was used in 'Air Force One'
