Alex and I hit Nationals Park this evening for our 8th Major League ballpark. The game was 10-0 after a few innings and it was pouring so we high tailed it out of there. We have two more ballparks in the next two days! Alex was a little disappointed there wasn't much for hi to do in the way of interactive games, but it was a nice park. Alex also caught a ball during batting practice and got it signed by Edwin Diaz of the Mariners. All in all a great visit. Can't wait for tomorrow!

Alex and I in Washington D.C.
On our way to the Nationals game we hit the Mall, stopping to see the US Capitol, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial and the White House. We mad a whirlwind trip but it was still exciting to see these places and experience it with Alex. He thought it was very cool. We will have to come back as a family to visit here.

Washing Grammy's car and Abby's tractor
Tonight Izzy and Abby washed Grammy's car and Abby's Simplicity 717. I think they got at least as much water on the car and tractor as themselves, the house, my car in the garage......

Alex and his Bulldogs get to 3-1
Tonight Alex played their fourth spring game and beat Holt 5-1, Alex scoring two goals. He is playing awesome, and since I coach I don't get to take photos but tonight Emma took some and did an outstanding job! The boys are looking very good and playing together as a team much better. I really am enjoying watching and coaching Alex and the boys, and watching Emma play on her team.
Below is Alex's first goal
This move below was awesome, stopped the ball, reversed directions and went right around the kid.
Our defense was so good in the 2nd half Alex got bored as goalkeeper.
Finally got a little action.....

Emma's Bulldogs got to play on the Mason Varsity field tonight under the lights, and they rose to the occasion and beat Okemos 1-0 moving them to 3-2! They played a hard fought game, it got a little chilly but was fun to watch. Go Bulldogs!
