Alex's 2nd grade Christmas play

Tonight was Alex's Christmas play at school.  As always it was hot and crowded but we had fun and he did great!



Emma's Basketball season starts!

Emma's season started off tonight with a loss, but they played very well, getting behind in the first half and coming back to make it close by the end of the game.  Emma had 4 points and played awesome defense!!

Cutting and decorating our Christmas Tree

Today we went with the fam to get our tree.  When we got there it was almost sunny and in the fifties, and by the time we left it felt like it had dropped ten degrees, was windy and started raining!  Good thing we got it in when we did.  

Mason Light Parade

Well, another parade in the books with the company float!  I love doing the Mason Light Parade since my family joins in on the fun.  The kids get to hand out candy to everyone there as we go along.  It was pretty cold but we had a good time.

Frankenmuth & Bronner's Day

Today we went to Bronner's and Frankenmuth.  Can't believe how packed that place always is!  Kids had fun seeing all the decorations and stuff, and even though the weather wasn't great it held off raining long enough for us to walk around Frankenmuth and visit the shops.

Silver Bells Parade

We did the Silver Bells in downtown Lansing again this year with my office and the float I help make.  Emma, Alex and Hannah went with us and even though it was cold we had a fun time.  This year we got a fog machine in the budget to make it look like the replica fire engine we made was fired up and ready!  Thanks again to my dad for letting us use his trailer!

Olivia wIns the Turkey Basketball shootout!

Tonight we took Olivia to the Steele Elementary Turkey shootout.  She won for the 4th grade girls!  She made 4 out of 10 free throws. Proud of her!
