I took the 3 older kids to the Nascar Nationwide race at MIS for today. They absolutely loved it. They could not believe how fast the cars really were, ate up the noise, the smell of racing fuel, and since we were in row 5 the wind and tire pellets hitting us since we were so close. Didn't get the best photos of track activities since I chose the close seats and the fence kind of ruined the shots, but you get the idea. One driver even came to rest right in front of us after smacking the wall. It was an extremely fun day. I enjoyed being there but having the kids there really put it over the top. Happy Fathers Day to me. :)
