This weekend was the Old Car Festival at Greenfield Village. When they accepted my application for entry this spring I was so excited. Well, it was still incredible driving the streets of the village, but the car didn't totally cooperate. The vacuum tank caused problems again with flooding the car, then I tried to swap out the float and it went to starving it for fuel. So while that was frustrating, it was still a very fun weekend.
Alex left for Scotland yesterday and arrived early this morning. He will be attending the University of Aberdeen. Can't believe he is gone for 3 months! Very excited for him and the adventures he will have.
For my 50th birthday Barb and Ryan invited us up to their vacation house on Mullett Lake. We had such a great time relaxing and boating. Got to spend some time on the lake and go to Mackinaw City and just spend time with the Hoffmans. It was a wonderful way to spend my 50th birthday!
