Tough day for soccer!

Izzy's game this morning went well, they tied 0-0.  So even though they didn't loss, it was their first non-win.  So they are now 3-0-1.  But played well and played very hard.  Alex's team got beat 4-0 against a very physical East Lansing.  The refs were letting them play very hard, and Alex kept his head in check but got very physical too, not backing down.  It was probably their worst game of the season, they seemed to forget a lot of their progress they had been making.  But they played hard and just came up short.

Alex's Bulldogs fall to Haslett

The boys got their first loss of the fall season, falling to Haslett.  Alex played defense the entire game, and played great, stopping several shots.  They played hard but just came up a little short.

Izzy's soccer team goes to 3-0!

Izzy's team won this morning against Leslie 3-0 to go to 3-0 for the season!  Izzy almost scored a goal, it was just wide.  But she played awesome defense and was a beast out there.

Bulldogs beat the heat and DeWitt, 12-1!

Another hot game but today on Alex's normal team they beat DeWitt, 12-1.  Alex had two goals, played goalie for the first half and kept them from scoring, and just played so well.  It's really fun watching this squad this year, they are playing so much better as a team.

A hot, fun sports day

Today started with Olivia bowling her best game yet, a 156!  She ended with a series of 348, her highest also.  Izzy was up next and her team played well and beat Haslett 3-1.  It was starting to get warm, but she played tough and hard and did awesome.  Last up was Alex, who was playing up on the U13 Mason team and it was a scorcher.  92 degrees, but he played great and held his own.  They lost against the best team in their division, but they played through the heat and I'm proud of him!

A quick swim at the Houser's

Went over to the Houser's for a bit today for a swim.  The water was a bit chilly, but still had plenty of fun!  Hopefully not the last swim of 2017!

Izzy's first Eastside Soccer game!

Izzy played in her first Eastside soccer game today and did great!  They won 1-0, and she played great!  She had some great passes, was aggressive going after the ball, and even tried dribbling with her head up.  It was very fun to watch.  She played her guts out!
