A snowy Halloween!

Interesting Halloween night. We had snow and winds to deal with but all went well. Girls got lots of compliments on their costumes. Had a good, cold candy getting time!

Steele Halloween Parade

Today Izzy had her last Halloween Parade at school. She went as a vending machine. Abby insisted on being R2D2, which she has been now all 4 years in school.  I have to admit, it is fun to see kids reactions when they see him sitting in the hallway. We have certainly gotten our use out of him! It is scary only Abby will be doing this next year!

Abby's U9 fall season finale

Well, the girls did not get a win in their first fall session of soccer, but their improvement was significant.  Today they had at least 7-8 good shots on goal that just missed. They are playing better together, and doing so much better. Abby has been incredible, getting more aggressive and turning into a good little soccer player!  Can't wait for the spring.

A wet finale for the U15 boys

Alex finished up his fall soccer season in a rainstorm.  They fell to Okemos 0-2 but still finished their season at 5-3, so not too shabby.  He played well, but they just couldn't get it through the defense today. Now comes the long wait until spring soccer starts!

Abby's last home game in 2019

Abby's team keeps improving and getting closer to a win, but they lost 0-3 today to Holt. They are getting opportunities, they just need to finish!  But it was a good game, and they are playing better each time out.

Mason U15 boys go to 5-2 with a win over Haslett

Alex's Mason soccer team guaranteed a winning record today with a win over Haslett 2-0!  They played their final home game for 2019 and defended their turf. Proud of how the boys are doing, they are playing well and have a tough final game against 1st place Okemos next week.

A cold game in Owosso!

Abby is getting more and more aggressive(in a good way) and trying to be more involved. It has been fun watching her get better and better. She played forward today and had several good passes and played extremely well!
