Watching the Blue Angels at the National Cherry Festival

Had to make the 400 mile round trip today to see the Blue Angels in Traverse City.  No better to celebrate the fourth than being loud and proud!  Been several years since we have been to see them and they never disappoint.  Wish I could go back and see them tomorrow!

Watching the Mason 4th of July Parade

A few pics from watching the fourth of July parade in Mason.  Plenty of police, fire engines and tractors!  Kids loved watching it and we all had fun!

Alex Baseball Favorites

Well, Alex's regular season ended tonight, and he ended it in style!  He led off the game with a triple and was hit in, than in the second inning he got another triple driving in the only other run of the game for a 2-0 win over Dansville.  He was a major part of the teams runs!  These are a few photos that are my favorites from his season.  He has a tournament next week so it's not totally over yet!!

Emma and Dad Night Out

Emma and I went out the other night to get her a new soccer ball and get some grub.  We went to BW3 in East Lansing.  I think I have a fellow wing lover to eat with. :)

Izzy's first soccer practice

Izzy's first soccer practice was tonight.  I have been waiting for this ever since she asked to play, and it was so much fun watching her out there running around and practicing.  She was so excited.  Proud of her for not being shy, trying hard and going out there!

Tiger Fun!

So today I took Emma and Alex and a couple friends to Comerica Park for a tour.  It was stormy the whole way there but we got the tour in between rain showers.  Worked out pretty well.  Got to see the clubhouse, dugout, the 1984 World Series trophy, the pressbox, and more!

I also took the kids to Ernie Harwell Park, which is the old Tiger Stadium field, which the neighborhood keeps up.  They even paint the foul lines, have markers where the playing field was, and paint the D in the outfield.  Kids loved being able to play a quick pickup game where the Tigers used to play.
