Full Blast Waterpark

After the drive at MIS we raced over to Battle Creek to a water park and spent the rest of the day.  The kids had a great time.  We had a great time spending the day together.  They loved the slides, the indoor one wasn't as big as the outdoor but was much faster.  Just a fun day in the sun!

Track Day at Michigan Internation Speedway

Once again I got us a few laps at MIS.  This year I brought my car instead of the minivan and it was a good thing.  We got in a goup of guys in a Mustang club who knew the guy driving the pace car.  Needless to say the picture of the speedometer was not even the highest speed we acheived. :)  But it sure was fun!  Kids had a blast, and since thy have never been in an airplane, this was probably the fastest they have ever travelled!

Miniature Golf Fun

Before the temps got too high we took the kids and our friend Taylor to Funtyme to golf.  Had a blast of course, however even kids know how to fib at golf scores..... :)

That time of year again

The steam show is in two weeks so today my dad and brother got the Advance Rumely out under fire for the first time in four years.  Drove around the grounds for a bit.  Alex was excited to see it run, but still doesn't like that whistle....  

4th of July fun

Since we are still in a heat wave (99 degrees around 4pm) we didn't do much outside to celebrate the fourth.  We did still however manage to take the 1925 Dodge in the parade with our friends the Millers.  It was very hot but we had a good time.  We'll never forget it, that's for sure.  My dad snapped some pics of the kids and of Emma and I as we drove by.  Happy 4th!!

Afternoon at the lake

Went to Clark Lake today with our friends and met up with Mandy's folks.  Had lots of fun in the sun!!
