We were worried this game was going to be ugly, as the team we beat Friday 2-1 lost to this Jacs team 0-12 the other day. But the girls came out with an incredible energy and gave up two goals in the first half, and none in the second. It was still a loss, but the girls hung with them. Extremely proud of the effort they gave.
The girls got their first win tonight against Bath, 2-1. They played very hard and were all over the field. Fun game to watch!
Tonight was senior night as it was the final game of the regular season. And the boys got another monkey off their back with a big win over rival Okemos. Alex scored a PK in the first half and we went on to win 2-1. It was an intense game, but the boys did what they needed to do.
The mercied Fowlerville tonight on a dark, rainy night to capture the CAAC Red Conference Championship. One trophy down!
Travelled to Sturgis tonight and ended in a 0-0 draw. Going to have to start finding a way to get the ball in the net, can't expect to get clean sheets every night! But the boys played hard and it wasn't a loss!
Holt girls came to play tonight, putting a hard loss on us, 0-4. We looked outgunned, the effort was there, they were just connecting more passes and keeping us from getting anything much together.

Tonight's game was not the result we wanted, but a tie is better than a loss. Need to find some energy and urgency as we have the season ending games coming up, with a must win next Tuesday against Fowlerville and the last game of the season vs Okemos.
Was a little worried about todays game due to Alex getting hurt i the DeWitt game and we weren't even sure he was going to play. But he played the whole game and was all over on defense as usual. But, after such a big win Thursday this was a perfect let down game. The boys didn't play as well as Thursday, but it was enough for the 2-0 win. Good enough!
Tonight was a fun night of soccer. The boys went in to DeWitt (for the first game on their new field) and took down the #2 team in the State in Div II Panthers. They played very well, and can hopefully keep this up!
