Washing dishes outside

 Since our new septic pump (less than a month old) crapped out we are back to no kitchen, again! So Mandy and a couple of the girls washed some of the dishes piling up. Hopefully they can get us a new pump tomorrow so back to normal.

Turtle number 2

 Caught turtle number 2 for this year today. This one was much smaller than the first. But I believe both were snappers, so down the road toa creek they both went.

Bulldogs beat up on Haslett in Summer League

 Game 2 of Summer League and the boys beat up on Haslett. Alex had a couple sweet defensive plays and we didn't looked challenged.

Getting used to this view

 We've lost power both days this weekend! Luckily they have fixed it fairly quickly, but let's see if they figured it out this time!

Mason Summer League begins

 Tonight kicked off Mason's summer league. Alex didn't play much as this is really to help everyone that hasn't been playing, but he did get a little field time.

Starting some landscaping

 We are never home enough to keep up on our labor intensive yard. Started a small project where weeds had taken over an area we had woodchips. Hoping to just plant grass and keep it mowed so less upkeep. Had to grade and move a large rock, which was accomplished with the help of Liv's tractor. Planting grass soon!

Track Banquet

 Izzy had her track banquet tonight. She cleaned up again, she got another Varsity letter, All Conference Honorable Mention and All Academic Award!

Happy 15th Izzy!

 Happy 15th birthday, Izzy! The grandparents and Uncle Pat came to celebrate with her. Even though she knew, and even wrapped her presents, she did act surprised!

Nationals end in the State Finals

 Alex's Nationals season is over, but it ended in the State Finals. They got beat by a very good Liverpool team in extra time. The boys played hard, but were beat up and even had to play a few minutes down 1 man due to injuries and being out of subs. But it was a fun team to be a part of, and now a short break until Mason summer league!
