Nationals beat Liverpool FC

 It wasn't a pretty game as Liverpool came one player short and then their goalie got injured making them down 2 players. But a 2-0 win is still a win.

Mason Track Conference Champs!

 Mason Girls Track (and boys for that matter) are conference champs! Izzy finished 4th in the conference in pole vault. Not bad for her first year! She cleared 7 foot 6, but could quite get over 8 feet. Next year!

Bulldogs end season with a W

 Abby's Bulldogs ended their spring season today with a win over St Johns. They finished with 4 wins, 2 losses and a draw. This season went way too fast. She keeps getting better, and it was so fun watching her and her team this spring.

Nationals on to State Cup Finals!

We were back in Saginaw this morning and the boys pulled out a 2-1 win over Midwest United FC. That will be two weeks from today back in Saginaw. The boys have looked really good the past two games!

 

Nationals get to State Cup Semi-Final

 We were in Saginaw this morning for Alex's Nationals in the State Cup quarter finals. It was a hard fought game, with no score after the first 90 minutes. The 30 minute overtime still had no score. This was an extremely physical game, and the boys were gassed. But in the PL shootout Alex and the boys hit all their shots, and our goalie stopped one of theirs, enough to secure a trip to the semi-finals tomorrow!

Girls Track & Field Regional Champs!

 Mason Girls Track & Field pulled out the Regional Championship that did not get done until after midnight due to a lightning delay. Way to go Izzy and Bulldogs!

Bulldogs fall to GL

 Grand Ledge beat us again but it was a close 2-1 game. Plus, the officiating was comically bad. These girls have never had a yellow or a red card and they got one of each tonight. Grand Ledge still has a little more talent, but with that ref we didn't stand a chance. Sad, as we are close to beating them.

Izzy qualifies for Regionals!

 Izzy qualified for Regionals for pole vault and long jump. She did really good, but couldn't beat her personal records which would have been needed to advance. but she put on a good showing!

Izzy gets student of the month!

 Izzy got Student of the Month, and this morning was the award presentation. Always nice to see others appreciate the hard work the kids put in to being a good student.

Bulldogs take down Lansing Eastern

Izzy did very well today at her meet at Lansing Eastern, clearing 7 foot 6 on the pole vault and getting 15 feet, 8 inches on her long jump, which was a personal best. She also ran a 100 meter dash at 14.77 - also a personal best! So she finished very strong. Proud of her for having a great first season competing!

Mothers Day 2024

 We had a beautiful day to celebrate the mom's in our lives. Spent some time in the afternoons at my moms and then went to Jackson to the Hoffmans.
