Ramdogs take down E Lansing/DeWitt

 The girls beat East Lansing/DeWitt/Lansing Catholic by a single point tonight, but a win is a win! Izzy is a little beat up so Christmas break is welcomed!

Izzy medals at Walled Lake Invitational

 Today we were in Walled Lake and the girls placed 9th out of 16 teams. Izzy also got her first medal! She placed overall in 11th, one place shy of getting an overall medal. She just keeps getting better. It was a fun day, and of course her and I had to hit the mall in Novi for some last minute Christmas shopping.

Gymnastics kickoff

 Izzy kicked off her sophomore gymnastics campaign with a solid performance today. It was our home invitational so we had to volunteer, but it worked out that I got to watch her do beam, so I got a couple photos of that. She got a career high 8.7 on floor, so that was a great way to start the season!

Getting our tree

 Today we went and got our tree. Turned out to be a little cold but still a good day to do it. Got it up and decorated. Even got Liv's train out of probably a 15 year hibernation and after oiling it up it worked great. Let Christmas begin!

Liv's first car

 Liv got her first car today! Mandy and I went to Ann Arbor to pick it up for her since we got it from Mandy's aunt who can no longer drive. Not bad for a first car, its a 2015 Buck LaCrosse.

Happy Thanksgiving

 This Thanksgiving we spent the afternoon at my moms and then went to Jackson to spend time with the Hoffman side. A bit of a whirlwind day but fun.

Jets bowl in Flint

 Spent the day in Flint watching Liv's Jets in the Rochester University Warrior Classic. It was a long day! More games than a normal tournament. Liv didn't bowl as much as she wanted, but she did her job when called upon. My favorite video below isn't the two strikes, but the third one which really shows off the spin she is putting on the ball. She got robbed of course, but still cool to see. They finished 5th in a difficult field.

Final soccer banquet

 Last night was the last soccer banquet for Alex. He once again had quite the haul. He was All-Conference, All-District, All-Region and 1st Team All-State. I am so proud of his athletic accomplishments, but the fact he was captain for two years, two years given the Mason Soccer Leadership award, and 3 years running with the All-Academic award is even better. These are qualities that will take him further in life. What an amazing run with Mason Soccer.

The D.A.C.

 Mandy and I got to visit the Detroit Athletic Club Saturday for a gala for FGR schools. This was due to Barb sponsoring the event and inviting us to go with her. What a night! We got to tour the building, have a wonderful dinner and I even got one of the few rooms they have there so we could spend the night. It was an awesome experience. We owe you, Barb!
