Tonight the Bulldogs went after undefeated Williamston and handed them their first loss of the season! After being knocked out of the undefeated ourselves last game, it was nice to dish it out to someone else to stay on top of the standings. But it was made even sweeter when Abby scored the go-ahead goal on a PK late in the game to seal the victory. What a fun night!
Memorial Day weekend this year was getting ready for Olivia's open house and getting things done around the house. Abby was able to be in the parade in Mason with some of her soccer teammates, and she also went with Emma and friends to the Holt parade for Sweet Sensations.
From where it started to where she finishes. Today is Olivia's last day in Mason Schools. So proud of her, and look forward to the next chapter!
Alex played a great game tonight and the boys pulled out a 2-2 tie.
Several weeks ago when I went to the DMV to get the new plate the Google car pulled out in front of me. Well, I checked the other day and here I am on my way home!
The girls got handed their first loss of the season today vs Dansville. They did not look like themselves and were just off. They still played hard, love Abby's tenacity, they just couldn't get it going.
Did some yard work today and Olivia helped me move the shed in the front of the yard we had there for waiting for the school bus (which they never used it for) to the back yard to use as storage. Her tractor started on the first pull after sitting all winter!
With no soccer today and the weather being beautiful I took the Bird out for about an hour long back road blasting drive. I used a 1/4 tank of gas. Ouch.
Tonight Olivia was awarded the Terry Dormer Scholarship to help with her college tuition. It means alot as Terry helped Olivia very early on with bowling and always believed in her.
Last Monday a deer jumped out in front of Mandy and she smacked it good. The Honda took it like a champ, but it needed a new radiator, A/C condenser, grille and hood latch. The hood is a little bent up, but can't replace that right now. But it is back on the road a week later!
Unfortunately Alex had a game to play on Mothers Day, but it worked out well since it was in Plymouth and Mandy's family got together to watch him play. They dropped the game 1-2 to Plymouth Reign, but he played well and had plenty of support.
I only got to see the first half of his game today but they were playing very well, jest not quite good enough. But Alex did awesome covering their front line, who we know include some very good players.
Abby and her Bulldogs handed Jackson a convincing 6-1 defeat today. Abby scored again and played very well.
