Halloween with the Naths

 Halloween with the Naths! The weather was extremely warm and beautiful. It was fun Trick or Treating in a new place.

My Pittsburgh office

 Today I worked from my sister-in-law's home In Bridgeville! I have to admit, this is one nice thing about working remotely and the first time I took advantage of it. Mandy and the kids are on vacation while I don't have to burn a day off. 

Another bowling alley

 Liv and I went and bowled at another alley today. It is fun going and visiting other bowling centers when we go away from home.

Isaac on the pitch

 We got to watch Isaac play a soccer game today and his team played awesome, winning 4-0. It was fun getting to watch him!

Qualified for the Pepsi Tournament!

 I forgot to post this yesterday, but Liv qualified for the State Finals the past couple weeks and she was notified yesterday. The tournament will be next May.

A Pittsburgh coincidence

 We are in Pittsburgh with the Nath's for Halloween and a memory came up on my Facebook from 11 years ago when they were visiting in Jackson. So we had to recreate it!

2022 Varsity success

 Well, Olivia and Alex had pretty good 2022 seasons for their varsity sports at Mason. Liv got to the State Finals with her bowling team and Alex got a District Title and made it to the round of 16 with his soccer team. Not bad!

The boys end their season in the round of 16

 Alex and the boys played hard last night, and held the lead with 10 minutes to go and then Divine Child got one through to tie it up. In overtime we got a penalty that they converted on to go up 2-1 and we just couldn't get back even with them. Very proud of this team, they had one of the toughest schedules in the State with one of the youngest teams in the State and they had a very competitive year. Proud of Alex as a sophomore playing against more experienced teams and always playing well and matching his more experienced opponents.  

Abby finishes up the fall season

 Abby's season finished up today with a 1-3 loss to Owosso. The girls came out a little flat and went down 0-3 in the first half, and came out in the second half as a completely different team and played much better. Abby has been struggling with very sore feet this whole season, having people stepping on her to the point the tops of her feet are bruised! She has toughed it out and still played awesome but took a couple more hits today. Proud of her for staying in the fight.

 Here is the article from the LSJ on the boys win last night. Alex got mentioned, pretty cool!

District Champs!

 Alex and his teammates played a very hard fought District Final tonight and came out on top 2-1 over top-ranked Pinckney! It went to overtime but the boys never let up. It was a great game to watch, so proud of the team for playing hard and coming out on top!

Bulldogs on to District Finals!

 Tonight was cold and rainy but the boys pulled out a 2-1 win over Chelsea to make it to the District Finals on Thursday. It was a very even contest with it 1-1 most of the game but we punched the go-ahead goal in with about 12 minutes to go.

Bulldogs lose a close one to Grand Ledge

 Abby and her team played extremely well today, losing to a very tough Grand Ledge team by just 0-1. This team is undefeated in 3 years and has beat teams by the score of 15-0 and 17-0. So to play with them was a game well played!
