Another weekend, another trophy!

 The girls took home the Leslie Blackhawk Baker Championship today! They had a much smaller field than last weekend's tournament but they did what they needed to do to win. Another fun day at the bowling alley!

 Olivia bowled her new high game last night at practice, a 214! That is getting up there. That took 7 strikes to get there!

 The kids went over to the Greathouses this evening to get some sledding in with Charlie and Logan. It got cold quick and soon they were back inside with hot cocoa!

 Today Olivia and her Bulldogs bowled in a big tournament in Jackson and battled hard to come away with the Championship! They had to beat the #2 and #1 teams in the tournament to bring it home but they did it. It was a long day but extremely fun. So proud of Liv and the girls, they all had times they were frustrated, upset with themselves, down on confidence, but they kept lifting each other up and get it done. What a day!!

 It's been pretty much bowling posts this month so here is something different! Abby got a Harry Potter paint by numbers for Christmas from Grammy and she finished her first one! It looks great, now only four more to go!

 After being sidelined for a week with Covid, Olivia came back and bowled a 171 and 162 for her Bulldogs. Unfortunately Holt got the best of the girls today and they had their first loss of the season. But they are still in the front running of the CAAC conference so they'll keep going and get them in the rematch in a couple weeks!

 A couple of Olivia's strikes versus Holt today. This was in the tenth frame of her first game, she almost struck out but let 1 pin standing on her third ball. I like the little extra body english on the second ball.

 Even though this week has been a lousy one for bowling, as Liv missed a tournament Sunday and a match today due to her getting Covid, the CAAC conference released standings today and so far this season she is leading the Bulldogs Varsity Girls in average!

 Olivia started out hot with an opening 172 to lead the Varsity Girls in the first match. She cooled off in the second game but in the two Bakers to finish up had a strike, 2 spares and a 9. It was enough to get another league win for them.

 Olivia started the Bulldogs off with a season high 192 game and played a huge part in taking 28 of 30 points in their match against Haslett this evening. She did so good in their first match of 2022. 

Happy Birthday Abby!

 Happy 11th birthday Abby! Hard to believe you are 11 already, but you are such a joy to have around and always good for a laugh. You are hard to surprise so we had to take her to the mall and let her pick out most of her presents! Happy Birthday Abbers.

2021 Growth Chart

 Abby won the growth award for 2021. She grew a whopping 4 inches! Izzy came in second with 3 inches gained and Alex still crept up 2 inches. Olivia and Emma stayed where they were at (Olivia might have grown a tad). We may need to add an extension for Alex next year!
