Skiing at the Hoffmans

 Yesterday we went to Mandy's parents and met up with them, Ryan & Barb and Joe and Julie. Several went skiing, Izzy did a little snowboarding, and some us stayed inside and played games. It was a beautiful day for outside activities.

Olivia's first turkey for Mason

 Here is a video of Livy's third strike in a row. I tried to zoom in on her score showing her turkey, but you can't see it that well. Her score is second from the bottom on the screen.

A good bowling week

 Olivia had a good bowling week, bowling a 145, 164 and 127 in the three games she bowled. She also managed to get her first turkey in competition! She is doing good, getting more consistently around and above 140. 

Snow Day!

 Got a good snow day finally! Some are working in the snow...some are playing in it!

Olivia helps...Charlotte?!?

 

Today Mason had a match against Charlotte and since they didn't have enough JV players Olivia was drafted to bowl for Charlotte. Olivia helped the Orioles quite a bit bowling a 163, one better than the next bowler(another Bulldog drafted). Mason Varsity won both boys and girls so overall it was a good bowling day.

A new friend

 After Squirt passed away Abby got to go get a new friend. She is named Pipsqueak. A little late in posting this but she has settled in nicely to her new home. Welcome Pipsqueak!

2021 sports kick off!

 Olivia got our 2021 sports season kicked off with a bang. The Mason JV girls wen up against Lansing Catholic's boy JV team and beat them in the match game and 3 of the 4 Baker games. In fact, their score was good enough to beat Lansing Catholic varsity boys! She did very well, especially since she was using a new ball for the first time without any practice. Didn't take long to get her first strike. 

So long Squirt

 Last night we discovered Abby's hamster, Squirt had passed away. He was just over a year old. We found him a nice box and put some bedding in there for him. Our little friends don't seem to stick around for very long. We told her maybe we can find her another friend soon.

 Finally enough snow on the ground to get out and sled! Izzy and Abby got out for about an hour today and had some fun on our little hill in back.
