Dodge tucked in

 Last night I went over to my friend Garrett's to put the Dodge away for the winter. Didn't drive it much this year but at least got her to one car show. Next year we will get her out on the road a lot more!

Abby starts fall soccer

 Abby started her fall soccer season today and did great! She has gotten faster since the last she played almost a year ago. It will be fun watching her as she gets better!

Finally!! Sports!! Alex opens the soccer season with a win!

 Alex had his first game of the fall soccer season. Wearing masks is mandatory(unless it slips down during play). They opened the season with a 8-0 win over Grand Ledge in a night game. Since I am helping coach I won't be able to take photos, but Emma did a good job getting some tonight! Abby plays tomorrow along with Alex having another game. Here we go!

Back on the lanes

 Olivia got back to bowling tonight for her league. With rules still in place they have to split up the bowling groups from the normal Saturday morning to Saturdays and Tuesdays. We got a Tuesday time slot so a little abnormal this year. Plus only one person per lane, so not much socializing with her teammates. Hard to believe we are still going through this and no sign of normality with sports coming back anytime soon. At least she gets to bowl, though.

Olivia's bowling ceremony

 They were able to finally get a time for the girls to get their awards from this past season scheduled, but unfortunately the girls head coach passed away yesterday. Terry had been such a supporter of Olivia and was an amazing coach to her and so many others. So it was a bittersweet ceremony, as were celebrating the Mason girls winning the Division II State Title this past year, plus Terry being named coach of the year, all without him there. It was still a time to celebrate, and Olivia and her team got to hold their trophy and get their varsity letters!

A small but fun car show

 Today I took both the 1925 Dodge Brothers and 1996 Ford Thunderbird downtown Mason for a small get together of the club I am in. Probably about 20 cars showed up overall(not all at the same time) and I got to talk with several nice people. Someone showed up in their 5 week old C8 Corvette and let the girls sit in it for a photo op. It was a fun afternoon, and the first time I took both cars to a show.

Birthday Bowling

 Since bowling alley's were finally able to open since being closed in March we decided to take the family bowling for Mandy's birthday dinner. Of course, Olivia smoked us all!

 Alex and Abby got new masks today since our Governor mandated they wear them if they wanted to play soccer this fall, which is finally going to get started this week! So they put in a little time tonight getting used to them.

The Country Mill

 Met up with Kristina this morning to go out to The Country Mill for cider and donuts! Oh, picked a couple apples, too.

Labor Day weekend fun with the Greathouses

 Went to Wolf Lake yesterday and rented a pontoon boat along with Mandy's parents bringing their boat. It was a little cool out on the water but we still had a good time cruising the lake and tubing.
