An afternoon at the Aqua Pit

Lots of fun this afternoon with the Housers at the Aqua Pit. It is in Coldwater at an old gravel pit that they turned into a small lake and put a little waterpark on. The kids had an absolute riot, and the adults had some fun too!

A beautiful day to paint!

Encouraging the kids to be outside today and tomorrow as the next week is forecast to well above average temps in the near 90's all week. They are painting, can't wait to see the results!

Our new relaxation area

This weekend we finished cleaning up the area behind the stone patio. Friday I went and picked up and put together the swing and Saturday finished up with the woodchips and Michigan stone!

Cleaning up the stumps

Along with the tree coming down I had them grind two additional stumps out. Lots of wood chips to pick up but almost everyone helped out!

Our last cottonwood is gone!

Finally said goodbye to our 100+ foot cottonwood today. hired someone to take it down. It had been very irritating with it dropping the sappy seed pods on our cars and driveway where the kids would then pick them up on their shoes and bring them inside. But after the last storm where large limbs came down I decided it was done. Will miss the shade but not the mess.

Storm cleanup

I got the girls and their friend, Brooke to help clean up the mess from the storm last night. Got to use three tractors to help!
