Emma's final JV game

The girls ended their season with a 4-0 win over Grand Ledge. I really enjoyed watching her play again. Hoping she tries again next year, but if not, her last season was a good one!

U15 Bulldogs get the win today to finish 4-4

Today the boys finished up their spring soccer session with a win! They went 4-4, which I think is pretty good considering they were going up against kids usually bigger and older. Alex even got two goals today. This will finish his stint of playing up against kids two years older than him. It was a big jump, and it has been tough at times since he was playing mainly defense usually against the opposing teams big strikers on the right side. But he did awesome. So fun watching him play against the older kids and not backing down. 

The U15 boys fall to East Lansing 3-1

Tonight the boys played East Lansing extremely hard, but fell 3-1.  It was their 3rd game in 4 days and they were tired, but you could tell they were playing their guts out. I was extremely proud of Alex, he was continuously on their biggest and fastest offensive threats and more than held his own. Proud of all the boys.

Palmer soccer game

The kids played a fun soccer game today in the yard. Alex and Abby took on Olivia and Izzy. They all had fun and it was fun watching them just play around with each other. Cool day but at least the rain held off until later in the day.

Tough weekend for the Mason U15 boys

So the boys were dealt two losses this weekend.  Saturday they played East Lansing, who is always good, but they were shorthanded due to the 8th graders on his team being away on a school trip to D.C. They played hard but with no subs it was just too much. Tonight they played a little out of sorts against LSC, but did well. They have 3 more games this week which will bring their season to a close. It has gone by way too fast.

Mason JV beats St Johns 2-0

The girls got another W tonight with their victory over St Johns.  They have improved so much. They have 3 games next week so hopefully can get some rest before they start the final push of their season!

Happy Thunderbird Birthday

As always I got some cupcakes on the way home for the TBird's birthday!  23 years ago she came off the line at the Ford plant in Lorain, OH. 

Used 5 tractors this weekend!

This weekend I had 5 different tractors running this weekend! Used Olivia's Yeoman 616 and Emma's Broadmoor 738 doing yard work, Izzy's Serf 515 fertilizing, Abby's Broadmoor 717 moving implements and wood and the Sovereign handled the first mow!

We were outside all day today doing chores and enjoying the weather, and Roxy had to be out there with us right where we were all day!

U15 Bulldogs stay undefeated against East Lansing

In a very soggy game the Bulldogs beat East Lansing 2-1. We were shorthanded as they was a band weekend trip so some of our best 8th graders were gone.  Luckily we ground out a W!

Alex runs well in the Mason 5k

Alex finished first in the 12 and under boys group in the Commercial Bank Mason 5k tonight! He ran very well, even though he was less than thrilled afterwards with him time. He was cramping, but still did pretty good.

JV Bulldogs take their first loss

The girls took their first loss of the season tonight in Marshall. Marshall looked to be the better team regardless, but our girls looked a little tired, possibly from their 3rd game in four days.  But they played hard!

Another win for the JV Bulldogs

The girls only got one half in tonight as they put up 8 goals before halftime and mercied Lansing Eastern. They played well and have a big game this Friday against Marshall.
