JV Bulldogs stay undefeated!

It was a soggy, thunder shortened victory, but a victory none the less!  The JV Bulldogs beat Fowlerville 1-0 tonight to stay undefeated.

Bulldogs go to 2-0 with a win over Grand Ledge

Tonight the boys got to play under the lights at Grand Ledge, and they won 2-1 to go 2-0 on the season!  They played very well and it was a fun, but late game, going until 9:30! But it was a great way to end the weekend.

We took Olivia bowling for her 14th birthday. Olivia is such a blessing, and a joy to be around. She has been such an awesome kid. She is turning into such a beautiful person. Happy Birthday Olivia!

U15 Bulldogs start the season with a W

Today Alex's Mason U15 team beat Charlotte 2-1. Great way to start the spring season!

Mason JV take down Williamston 7-0

The JV Bulldogs took down Williamston 7-0 this evening, really putting on an offensive display. The girls are still undefeated!

Alex qualifies for the Delton Kellogg Invitiational

Yesterday Alex ran a 5:49.1 in the 1600, which qualified him for an Invitational in Battle Creek!  He has a soccer game that day so we are still trying to figure out if it will work, but very cool either way.

Mason beats Western High School 1-0

Tonight the JV Bulldogs beat Western 1-0. Very proud of them, they stayed at it and scored with only 5 minutes left in the game and held on. Way to go girls!

Alex the runner!

We found out today that as of right now Alex is in the top 5 in the state of Michigan for 6th graders in the 1600!  Pretty amazing!  I told him I want to see him break the 6 minute mark tomorrow.

Bulldogs battle to a 1-1 tie with Okemos

The Bulldogs battled to a 1-1 tie tonight with Okemos. They played hard but just couldn't get another good opportunity after scoring early. Still undefeated!

Mason JV wins East Lansing Soccer Tournament!

Today the Mason Girls JV soccer team won the East Lansing Girls Soccer Tournament!  They won the final game in a shootout, so they kept us on the edge of our seats until the very end! It was a great day of soccer, proud of them for playing hard and getting it done!

Alex's first middle school track meet

Alex ran in his first middle school track meet tonight. He finished 3rd in the 1600, 3rd in the 400 and finished up 5th in the 800. He gave a great effort in all three events.

Without even being asked to help, Olivia, Izzy and Abby offered to help clean the leaves out of the waterfall area and pond. I got the camera out there in time to catch the little ones but not Olivia. But thanks for the help!

Spring yard cleanup

We still have quite the cleanup left from the trees we took down Thanksgiving weekend. We raked up as much leftovers as we could, including saw dust, twigs, etc, and hauled them off to the back yard. I started filling in some of the holes left when the trees came down, and then Alex graded some of the uneven turf. Still work left to be done, but slowly getting there! And just had to be outside, we brought back Tennessee weather!

Spring Break Day 6 - more fun

Olivia really wanted to do a zip line, so we found one for her. This one had 11 different lines, the highest of which was almost 160 feet. She loved it. After the hike and Livy's zip line we did miniature golf one last time. This was a really fun week blessed with great weather. We got a couple cuts and bruises from the hiking, but it was just a great vacation. Tomorrow, all day in the van!!
