Snow Soccer!

So today, after playing soccer outside yesterday in short sleeves, the kids played in 5-6 inches of snow!  They were out there over an hour, just having fun.  It was funny.

Beautiful January day!

We don't get many days like this in January, so we all played outside for a while.  Took Izzy and Abby to the park and the older kids played soccer. Definitely have the bug for spring!!

Another W for the boys in Eaton Rapids

The boys took it to Eaton Rapids today and improved their record to 6-2.  Only one more game in the regular season to go!

Emma gets student of the month!

This morning I got to go to a ceremony at Emma's high school where she was awarded Student of the Month.  I am so proud of her for being a hard worker at her studies and just being a great person.  The teacher had several nice things to say about her.  Congrats, Emma!

Redwing & Spartan Hockey!

We went to the Redwing Alumni vs Spartan Alumni Hockey game with the Housers.  Great fun, and Alex even got a couple autographs, one from McCarty, who I remember watching play.

 

Bulldogs fall to Portland

The 9am game in Portland this morning was a little too much for the boys.  It was tied 26 all at halftime but they had a hard time finding the bottom of the net in the second half.  They played hard but it was a tough loss.

 Above I was a little late on Alex's first of two blocks on this play!

2018 North American Intl Auto Show

After Alex's game we shot down to Cobo for our annual trek to the north American International Auto Show in Detroit.  So many cool cars.  

We got to make Ford Racing drivers at the Ford display, mine is above and Alex is holding his below.
