Alex plays in Mason 4v4 soccer tournament

Alex played in Mason's 4 on 4 soccer tournament yesterday with his friends and played great, scoring several goals and playing outstanding defense.  They had a great time and came in 2nd.

This weekend we went to Holland State Park and met up with the Hoffman clan.  Pretty much spent the weekend at the beach, but had great weather.  Kids had a blast, and that is pretty much the point!

More frog catching

Just another night of frog catching at our place, but I wanted to take a couple photos.  Abby fell on her bike last night but is doing much better.  She is a little banged up, but looks like she is healing well.  Love her spirit, love all of my kids.  Just a fun evening with them.

Hitting some landscaping projects!

The last couple of days we have been starting to cleanup our yard.  Olivia used her tractor to pull a fallen limb up a hill so I could take care of it, and we cleaned up an area in front of the house that was overrun with ivy and vines, and leveled out an area in the middle of the front yard that was just weedy and smack in the middle of the yard.  We wanted to flatten it so the kids had a large flat open space.  We had to move several trailer loads of rocks and dirt, and then flatten the large mound still left.  Now we just need to plant grass and it will be ready!!
