This evening we went into Traverse City and spent a while at Pirate's Cove. Kids had a blast, and so did the adults! As you can see there was plenty of smiles. We had a great time!

Ballpark #10 - Citizens Bank Park
Today Alex and I completed our '3 Major League Ballpark's in 3 Days' tour! We had a soggy game at Philadelphia's Citizens Bank Park to watch the Phillies take on the Rockies. It was an empty park but still fun. Drizzled but nothing too bad. Alex even got another autograph, this time from the Phillies Zach Eflin. So he got an autograph at each game! Unbelievable. It was a fun 3 days, but tiring, putting almost 900 miles on the road in 60 hours.
Philadelphia - Independence Hall & Liberty Bell
Last night we went downtown Philly to see Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell after it had closed. But i couldn't get advanced reservations for a tour but I wanted Alex to a least see what we could since we were here. Well, he talked me into leaving the hotel this morning at 7:30 so we could get in line and get non-reserved tickets to get in. He was so excited I had to! It was very cool being able to go in and see the room where so much of America's history originated. Now, on to ballpark #10, Citizens Bank Park, which we had a great view of from our hotel room!

Ballpark #9 - Oriole Park at Camden Yards
Today Alex and I got our ninth Major League ballpark in, Camden Yards! I was very excited to watch a game here, and it didn't disappoint. It was a great ballpark to watch a ballgame at, and felt like it had tons of history, even though it has only been around 25 years. But lots of things to do, they have a sidewalk between the park and the warehouse where they have marked where all the home runs hit there landed. Very cool. Alex also got a ball signed by the Twins' Justin Haley. He seems to get his share of those! All in all, a great day.
