New Years Eve

Tonight we did our annual New Years Eve bowling adventure with my mom and dad, my brother and his family and the Housers. Afterwards we went to the Housers and played games and hung out, with the kids making it all the way to 11!  

A long fun day of basketball

Alex and I got up at 6:00am this morning to get to Whitmore Lake for a basketball tournament.  They played well, you could tell the teams they were playing against had played together for a bit, as our boys struggled to get their own offense going.  It was our first tournament, and I have a feeling we will have more in our future.

Gymnastics fun

With the tree out but the couch not yet back, Izzy and Abby decided to put on a gymnastics show while Alex and Livy scored them.  They both did very good and we had some laughs.

Christmas morning

Even though presents are not the true meaning of Christmas, I am posting these for the smiles of the little ones.  We had a great morning with lots of laughs and smiles.  Izzy got her Yoda and Abby her R2D2, some new playsets, Alex got his fitbit and Javier Baez jersey, Livy got a phone and a new jr Bee, and Emma got tickets to the Packers/Lions game next Sunday.  They are all excited.  I did find a couple Cubs uniforms from American Girl that were giveaways at Wrigley in 2008 and 2010, I think Izzy looks awesome in them! :)

Swim night at MHS

Kids got to swim in the Mason High School pool tonight and had a blast, they were in there until their lips turned blue!

Decorating cookies with Grammee

Tonight we went to my moms and decorated her awesome Christmas cookies.  I think we even made more than we ate!

Baking cookies, American Girl Detroit and cousin fun

This past weekend we stayed with the Hoffman's, and baked cookies(while Alex and I went to the Red Wings game) on Saturday night, and on Sunday(while Mandy, Emma, Olivia and Barb went to the Nutcracker) I took the others to Twelve Oaks to go to the American Girl store and then went back and had some cousin fun.
