Alex's soccer team beats Holt!

The biggest disappointment with coaching Alex's soccer team is not being able to take photos, but today I had Emma try and she did really good!  Even though he goes out of focus she caught his second goal of the day, a sliding shot past the goalie.  He played awesome and they got their first win beating Holt 3-2 after dropping their opener last weekend.  Alex has 3 goals in their first two games!

Emma played extremely aggressive today and she was fun watching.  I love the bottom photo of her not being pushed around.  They didn't win, but they didn't give up, either.

Olivia bowls her best series ever - 365!!

This morning Olivia made my weekend by totally killing it while bowling!  Not only did she have her best game ever - 132, but she ended it strong with a 119 and 114 for a 365 series.  She was having so much fun, too.  She was just a joy to be around while watching her and she is getting more confident with it every week.

Emma starts her soccer season with a goal!

Emma got to play under the lights tonight in their season opener against Holt.  She scored a goal early but unfortunately Holt got a late penalty and won 3-2.  Great game and fun with it being played at night!

Olivia learns how to mow!

Olivia has been asking to mow so today I showed her how to mow with her Simplicity.  She striped the lawn with pretty even lines!  It was tough walking next to an operating tractor while mowing, I'm glad she didn't need much help!

Cutest NASCAR Driver!

As part of Mandy's birthday I got us tickets to drive around Michigan International Speedway.  I drove first and then she got to drive.  She did awesome, getting over 100MPH without any trouble.  I wasn't sure if she would like it or not but she came off the track all smiles!!

Back to Bowling!!

Olivia started her bowling league this morning and started with a bang!  She bowled a 101, 90 and 115 for a 306 series!  Way to go Liv!!

Cousin Fun

Today we went to my brothers and had an awesome dinner, with him smoking ribs. He does them so good.  The kids played in the pool and messed around and we ended the visit with my dad making homemade ice cream!

Van Buren State Park/South Haven

Today we and our good friends the Houser's went to Van Buren State Park and in to South Haven for dinner.  The weather was absolutely beautiful, however with Lake Michigan being a brisk 50 degrees our time in the water was somewhat limited!!
