Steele Elementary field day

Today was field day at the kids school.  Lots of games, fun and sun!!  Abby even got to participate a bit and had a ball.

Got the Dodge out again today and took the top shot, then Olivia wanted a photo by it and I found the middle shot from August, 2006 when she was just over a year old.  Emma would have been close to turning 4!  

Olivia wins ice cream for everyone with her accuracy

Olivia got a near bulls-eye from 40 feet!  I told her if she got it in there I would buy ice cream, so, off to go get ice cream!!  Nice shootin, Tex!

Old car fun on Memorial Day weekend

It was too nice today not to get the Dodge out.  Took it into town, drove the family around for a bit, and was reminded how much I enjoy driving this!!  

Clark Lake with the Hoffman's

This afternoon we went to Jackson and hung out with the Hoffman side of the family at Clark Lake.  The weather turned out to be great, and we had a great time hanging out in the water.  Great start to the weekend!

Slip n Slide fun

Kids had some slip n slide fun with the neighbors tonight, summer is here!!

Alex's final spring soccer game

Alex's first season of soccer(fall/spring) is over, and both he and his team did awesome.  He worked his tail off every game, had fun doing it, and was fun to watch.  He is already looking forward to the fall and can't wait for the next season to start.

4 goals with a broken arm

Since Alex has a 'soft' cast on his arm we let him play in his soccer game today.  He quickly made up for the two games he missed due to his arm, scoring a hat trick in the first half and adding a fourth goal in the second half.  He was everywhere out on the field.  His team won 6-4 and you could tell he missed being out there for those two games.
