Coaching Alex's basketball team

One of Alex's coaches couldn't make it to the game today so I helped out.  I had a lot of fun helping coach the team.  I think it is one of the few times Alex listens to me!

Well my camera phone sucks but the seats were awesome.  Took a couple agents to the Spartans/Gophers game and sat courtside.  Unfortunately they Spartans lost in OT but the game was amazing!  Got to talk to Mark Dantonio, George Blaha and Coach Pitino of the Gophers.  Still a fun experience even though the Spartans lost.

Sunday Morning Soccer

Emma had an 8am soccer game this morning!  She was actually able to get herself geared up and play hard.  Woof!

Basketball Week 4

Wow.  What a day of basketball for Alex and Olivia.  For the second week in a row Alex was put on the other teams best player, and his defense was amazing.  He can really play defense.  His 'basketball sense' is pretty darn good for a kid his age.  And Olivia, she played her guts out today.  She had 6 points(the most ever!) and had several steals and rebounds, and was an animal on defense as well.  Plus, they are very good sports and play their hardest.  So proud of them!!!!!

Another season begins!  Emma started indoor soccer today and it was really fun watching her.  She played very well for her first game, playing great defense and getting a couple shots on goal.  Very fun to watch!

Another overtime win for Mason!!

A day after their second overtime win of the season came the third!!  The Mason girls beat Stockbridge tonight in a very tough game.  The girls fought through some rough play and bad officiating(for both teams) to go to 6-1 on the season.  Emma played very well and scored a couple of baskets and got a crucial steal in OT to assist the game winning shot.  What a sports weekend!!

Unbelievable!!

Emma hit the game winning shot in overtime with 3 seconds left to beat Okemos!!  It was amazing!!  I had to stop myself from running out there on the court to hug her, but the crowd went absolutely nuts!!  She was smiling so big and she was so happy.  What an amazing Saturday of watching the kids play basketball.  Can I breathe now??

Basketball...Week 2

Week 2 was tons of fun!!  Alex had a great game, and Olivia did as well.  They both played extremely hard, Olivia had to play almost the whole game due to their team only having 6 players this week, but she did it!  

More snow fun!

Well, in our area the schools, General Motors and even the State of Michigan is closed so we went out and had fun!
