Happy Halloween!

Well, it was snowing and cold but we got the kids out and getting candy!  

Emma's last soccer game

Well, Emma's soccer season has come to an end(until spring!).  It was really fun watching her play and get better throughout the season.  Always love watching the kids play their hearts out and Emma did just that.  Proud of both Emma and Alex for how they played, their sportsmanship, and their effort!

Emma and I go to a MSU soccer game

Since Emma loves soccer so much I promised to take her to an MSU soccer game.  They played Northwestern and they ended in a 1-1 tie.  I had never been to a collegiate soccer game before but it was fun.  Beautiful day, too!  I even snuck her in to Jenison Field House for a few minutes.

Uncle johns Cider Mill....again!

It was such a beautiful day the fam had to go to the Cider mill again for cider and donuts.  Played everywhere and the kids had a blast on all the bounce house inflatables!

End of the football season

Well, another season has come and gone.  Alex finished the season off with a great run and an interception.  Their team went 4-1-1.  They had great weather for most of their games and of course he had a great time and we had a great time watching him!

Emma gets her third goal of the season!

Emma scored her third goal of the season today!  She had to play the whole game so was exhausted!  The girls played a good game, only game left!

Another fun football Saturday

Well, another football game down and only one left!  Alex had a touchdown run the length of the field on the first play!  He outran everyone.  He had several nice passes and dove for a flag and got it!  Of course, it helps having the cutest cheering section!

Busy weekend!

Friday I picked up the kids from school in the 1925 Dodge Brothers and then we had several games to go to this weekend.  Alex had a football game in which he had several good passes and a nice catch with a long run afterwards, and Emma had a couple soccer games and on Sunday got her second goal of the season!  

At Comerica Park for game 3 of the ALDS!

Well, I got to take Alex to the American League Division Series game at Comerica Park today.  Unfortunately the Tigers couldn't pull out a win, but he and I had a great time.  Something different about October baseball.  What a great way to close out the 'summer'.  It was my first playoff game, too, and I won't forget it.

A cold day for sports!

This morning for Alex's football game it was cold and rainy, but they played well and Alex caught a touchdown pass.  We were soaked after the game!  The rain at least stopped for Emma's soccer game and they hard.  Still a bit chilly but at least we were dry!!
