Fun at the Aquatic Center

Took the kids to the East Lansing Aquatic Center this afternoon and they had a riot.  It was a great day for it. The older kids loved the slides and diving board and the little ones had fun swimming around and on the splash pad.

Well, Isabelle finished her first season of soccer.  She always ran and tried hard, but she was also the kid who had to reminded a soccer game was game was going on!  She enjoyed watching her teammates do most of the kicking and would get in there now and then.  She had fun playing and we had fun watching her.  Hard to believe she is done already, especially since that means summer is almost over!!! :(

Hot Air Balloons!

Alex, Livy and I went to see the balloon launch at the annual St James Festival. Always enjoy watching them be inflated and liftoff.  There were quite a few this year.

Today Alex and I went to Comerica Park to see the Tigers whoop on the Rockies 4-0 and sweep their series.  Alex got a couple autographs, had his fastball clocked at 32MPH, and got to run the bases after the game.  We had a great time!
