Halloween & school parties

Kids had their school parties today and even though the weather was crappy all day we got our trick-or-treating in!!  We made a Nerds box for Emma, dressed up Livy for her masquerade ball, Alex was a pod racing Skywalker and Izzy and Abby were cute princesses.  But most importantly, we got lots of candy!!!

Alex's last football game of 2013!!

Today was the last football game of the year.  Alex did very well, and we had a fun, safe season.  He wrote a letter to his gym teacher inviting him to the game he came to watch his student!  He was excited to have a 'fan' there. :)  Sad the season is over, but we had plenty of fun while it lasted!!  Thanks to everyone that came out to watch him, it meant a lot to him and us.

Hard to tell from the photos but at times it was absolutely pouring and cold during his football game this morning.  They played hard(mainly to stay warm!) and played well for the conditions.  Alex had several good runs and broke up a pass.  Took a while to thaw out afterwards!

Glo-Golfing with the kids

To celebrate us making it through the week while Mandy was in New Orleans, I let the kids stay home from school and I took them to glo-golf.  We had a good time, sorry for the quality of the pictures, the cell phone only does so good!

 

Izzy and Abby at Jumpin Jax

This morning I took the girls to Jumpin Jax in Lansing.  They had a blast on all the inflatable toys.  We were there for over 2 hours!

Potter Park Zoo with Izzy and Abby

I took Izzy and Abby to Potter Park Zoo today.  They were very excited to see the animals, and the weather held even though a little chilly.  But we had a great morning and tons of fun!
