Alex's first T-Ball game

Alex played his first t-ball game tonight.  It was fun to see him out there running the bases.  He can't wait until next year to be pitched to.  But he had fun and since he was the last to bat one inning he got to hit a 'grand slam'!

Emma's Charity Soccer Game

Emma participated in a charity soccer game through Mason Schools.  4th graders and 5th graders playing.  Her team won 3-1.  It was a warm-up for her since she is going to play summer soccer starting in about a month!

Memorial Day Biking

Well, far from the low 70 degree forecast weather, it was 50's and rainy.  However we did manage to get the kids out for about an hour on their new scooters and bikes.  But that was all we could stand.  Yep...

Alex's class trip to Potter Park Zoo

Today I went with Alex and his kindergarten class to Potter Park Zoo.  We had a great time.  The weather was great and the animals were out and moving around.  He had a blast!

School Nite with the Lugnuts

Alex, Emma, Olivia, our friend Hannah and I went to the Lugnuts game last night.  It was school night and it was nuts with kids!  The Nuts won, kids had fun, saw friends, and stayed for the fireworks.  It was a great night for a ballgame!!

Alex's first T-Ball practice

Alex had his first t-ball practice today.  He was very excited.  He did pretty good, they practiced hitting, fielding and throwing.  Can't wait to see him out there playing.

Alex and I on the Coopersville & Marne Railway

Today Alex and I went to the Coopersville & Marne Railway, west of Grand Rapids for a 90 minute train ride.  We got to go up in the diesel cab, he got to sit in the engineers chair, and have lots of fun with the engineer.  The ride was good and he loved getting out of school to take a train!
