Christmas 2011

Well, this Christmas was one for the books.  Not so much for being a perfect weekend, but one we'll never forget.  Olivia had the stomach flu last weekend, and Abbey caught it Thursday night.  Then Izzy at 10:30 Christmas started getting sick and then Alex at midnight.  So I was up all night tending to them while Mandy was also sick.  The kids were great though.  We still had a great Christmas Day, and the kids had a wonderful time with family.  Important thing is, we made it through! :)  

More Christmas Cookies

Saturday night is a perfect night to make moew cookies.  My parents came over and hopefully we decorated more than we ate!!

Since I'm not in many photos I post I thought I would let you all know I'm still alive.  This was Thursday night at my office Christmas outing.  And yes, it's my hat. :)

Indoor Bike Riding & Christmas Cookie Decorating

We decided that even in the winter bike riding was an activity we still needed to do.  So around the house go the kids.  Tonight we had friends Teagan, Maddie & Brooklyn over to decorate Christmas cookies.  Big messes equal big fun!

Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad

Our annual trip to Crossroads Village was again very fun.  Unfortunately Livy got a fever, so Mandy stayed home with her and Abbey.  But Emma, Alex and Izzy were still able to have a great time along with my parents and my brother.  It got pretty cold, but a Cracker Barrel dinner warmed us up!

Tractor Sledding

Had just enough snow today to pull the kids around on sleds behind the tractor.  Kids were begging to go, so while the sun was out and friend Hannah was over we finally did.

Back in a Thunderbird

From the ages of 18-25 I had 4 different Thunderbirds.  Loved them.  I came across this beauty last week, and had to snag it.  Something about a nice sized V8 engine driving the rear wheels in a great looking body that makes driving so much fun.  So nothing for Christmas for me this year, it came a little early as you can see.  Nice to have a Thunderbird again... :)

Tree Cutting & Decorating

We barely beat the rain but we did get our tree and get it up and decorated!  It was a fun night, Abbey isn't quite sure what to think of everything yet but I think she enjoyed it. :)
