Fun Sunday

It was a little cold today but otherwise beautiful.  We played football in the yard, then I tought Jr how to change the oil in my car, so next time he can do it.  He'll be 5 by then so I figure I'm good on the child labor issues.  Then we had to get a tractor out and play a little.  Plus the Lions freakin killed the Broncos!

Emma & Alex's birthday get together at Hoffmans

Since Katie and Tim and crew were in town we decided to celebrate Alex and Emma's birthdays a little early.  Yikes, a couchful of kids!  It's great the kids get along so great even though they don't see each other alot.  We had a great time.  A little crazy too... :)

Trunk or Treat 2011

This year Andrews Chevrolet sponsored the trunk or treat in mason.  Kids had a blast and brought home a truck-load!!!

Pumpkin Carving Fun

Aunt Barb joined us to carve some pumpkins.  We has dinner with her and Mandy's folks, too.  It was a beautiful day here.  We may have a couple more pumpkins to carve soon, it's too much fun to stop now! :)

R E Olds Museum

Jr and I went to the R E Olds transportation museum today to look at the old cars.  He had fun seeing them and it's always nice to get a little man time away from the women!! :)

Last drive of 2011

Took the 1925 Dodge into town to get her good and warmed up to get her winterized and put away for the year.  That view out the windshield is my favorite behind a steering wheel.  Other than the wind trying to blow me off the road it was a great drive.

Uncle Johns Cider Mill

Went to Uncle Johns Cider Mill today.  It was beautiful out.  Great October day, cider and donuts.  YUM.  

Another Fun Saturday

Mandy was at a mom to mom sale all morning so we hung out and played games.  It was beautiful out.  Had to give some tractor rides and Alex looks like he's ready to move from his 6hp tractor to the bigger 12hp model. :)
