Cookie Night

The other night we had Aiden, Liam, Maddie, and Anne and Gabe and Jamie over to decorate cookies. It was a crazy time but lots of fun with everyone pitching in. We decorated at least 60 cookies. Thanks everyone for making it so much fun. And yes, we are still eating the ones we decorated!

Thanksgiving Weekend

Thanksgiving weekend was such a joy this year. Just being thankful for everything we have, with so many less fortunate right now. My grandpa made a surprise visit from Florida and was with us for Thanksgiving for the first time in at least 19 years. We got our Christmas Tree Saturday afternoon and had fun putting it up with the kids and everyone. Just a really good weekend. Looking forward to spending more time with family as the Christmas Holidat Season approaches.

Happy Birthday Emma!

Well, our ten day birthday trip of Alex(November5) to Emma(November 15) is finally over. I cannot believe Emma is 7 years old. She got to have a party at the bowling alley with some friends from school on Saturday, and then we had a campfire Saturday night. We then celebrated her birthday Sunday and had a great time. Now, we are getting ready for Thanksgiving! 4 days off, love it!

Birthday Weekend

Well, Mandy's family has always come up one day in between Alex and Emma's birthdays since they are ten days apart. So we got together and celebrated their birthdays Sunday. And we usually get something for Livy since her siblings are getting presents. But it was a great day, we took a walk outside and enjoyed the day. Emma's 7th birthday is now only 4 days away!

Happy Birthday Jr!

Well, my little man is 3 years old. So, I got him his first tractor! It is a 1963 Simplicity Broadmoor, which his sisters enjoyed just as much as he did. We had my parents and my sister-in-law Jackie over for the festivities. Sunday we will have a joint Alex-Emma birthday party with Mandy's family. Another birthday to celebrate the blessings of our kids.

Packed Weekend

Last weekend was pretty packed. Saturday Mandy's sister, Katie and her kids were up for a while, then Sunday we decided to go to Uncle John's Cider Mill and make cookies. This weekend is Holloween se we are getting ready for that, everyone has a costume all set except Alex, who doesn't like anything we try on him!
