Mandy's Birthday

Sunday was Mandy's birthday. The kids picked out flowers to get her. Alex went along. It was my kids turn to get a little messy with birthday cupcakes. Thank goodness the rain finally stopped, the kids are getting a bit stir crazy after three days of being kept mainly inside.

Rachel's First Birthday

We celebrated the first birthday of Rachel Nath, Mandy's niece. These cupcake photos were so cute I couldn't pick one, so I made a compilation of them. Too cute. It is raining horribly here and is not supposed to stop soon, so when our basement started getting water I had to go get a pump. Good thing it is up and running now because it is kicking on at least every half hour. Today we will celebrate Mandy's birthday so tomorrow I will have a couple photos of that. Another eventful weekend!

My birthday

I had a fun birthday weekend. Friday night Mandy's parents came up for dinner and Saturday we celebrated my and Mandy's birthday since hers is next week. Sunday Mandy and the girls went shopping for flower girl shoes for Mandy's brother's wedding which is coming up, so it was me and Jr for the afternoon so I took a few photos of him and me. A nice weekend of relaxing and playing around and getting a few things done. A great birthday weekend.

Emma goes to school!

I can't' believe our Emma is old enough to go to school. I had such a hard time dropping her off. She is so excited about it which makes it easier, but it is still hard for me. They are growing up, and I am not ready for it! Enjoy every stage as I go through it I guess, because I can't stop it, and we'll be moving on to the next one before I am even comfortable with the present one!

Labor Day Weekend

What a weekend. It started Friday by Mandy and I going out while her folks watched the kids. We ran some errands and met up with my sister-in-law at Bennigans for a very enjoyable dinner. Saturday we went to Jackson to Mandy's parents to do some housework to prepare for an upcoming wedding shower. We did some squirt-gunning and playing around. Sunday I had some work to do, but in the evening we went school shopping for Emma since she starts kindergarten Tuesday. Monday was fun, we tried to relax, despite the heat. I put Emma's new bike tires on and she lost a tooth! Last time I do that. We had dinner with my family. Overall a good holiday weekend, we got some work done but found time to relax to.
