Izzy passed her driving test yesterday and is officially unleashed on the roads. I didn't get a photo of her driving yesterday as it was dark, but I got her coming home from work today. Be on the lookout!

Skating for Abby's 15th birthday
Abby wanted to go ice skating for her birthday so we went to Detroit to skate at Campus Martius. Was a perfect night for it. Had fun with the kids and it was a great way to spend time together on Abby's birthday. We just missed Liv, who was in Chicago.

2025 Christmas Tree shopping
Today we went and got our tree. Due to getting over 7 inches of snow last night we went to the barn for a pre-cut tree. First time for that, but none of us had boots and such to go plowing through the lots for a tree. Got it up and decorated.

Pumpkin Garfield
I'm a little late in posting, but about a week ago it was decided Izzy got a new cat. One of her coworkers at Ace brought in some kittens and she picked out this little boy kitten. Izzy named him Pumpkin, Alex gave him the middle name of Garfield.

Abby's soccer finale
Abby's final soccer season came to an end today. She got a concussion so missed the previous two games, but at least got to play in the season finale against St Johns. She helped them to a 1-1 draw. She played hard and well. It was a tough season playing against mostly older girls, but they did very well considering.

An amazing night at Wrigley
Kind of on a whim Alex and I joked about going to Wrigley for a postseason game of the Cubs. Well, we got tickets to game 4 of the NLDS and it was a night I won't forget. I have been to many Cubs games, but nothing like this. The stadium was in a frenzy from the first pitch. They won 6-0 to force a deciding game 5 and it felt like a World Series game. The best part was that Alex and I got to experience it together.
